At the 2025 K-INNO Show held on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at the Booyoung Hotel & Resort Jeju, Smart Manufacturing Innovation Team Manager Song Chang-seok received the Minister’s Commendation from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups in recognition of his contributions in the field of manufacturing innovation.

The K-INNO Show, which began in 2000 as the Korea SME Technology Innovation Show, celebrated its 26th anniversary this year. It is recognized as the nation’s premier innovation festival, providing a platform to showcase SME achievements in innovation, foster business exchange, and honor distinguished contributors. More than 600 participants—including the Minister of SMEs and Startups, representatives from related organizations, and award recipients from various categories—attended the event.

The Minister’s Commendation is awarded to individuals or organizations that have contributed to the development of innovative technologies, strengthening industrial competitiveness, and advancing sustainable management innovation. Based on a review of achievements from 2020 through 2025 in support of the Smart Factory Initiative, Manager Song was selected as an honoree in the manufacturing innovation category.

In his acceptance speech, Manager Song stated, “It is a great honor to receive such a meaningful award. This recognition is not only the result of my personal efforts, but also a testament to the achievements of everyone in our company who has driven innovation forward. We will continue to pursue innovation in manufacturing technology relentlessly to strengthen our competitiveness and achieve even greater progress.”
