Seoyon E-hwa Co., Ltd., a company specializing in automobile interior and exterior parts manufacturing, participated in the 48th National Quality Control Circle Competition held at the Gyeongju Hwabaek Convention Center (HICO) from August 29 to September 2 and won the Presidential Gold Award.

 

The National Quality Control Circle Competition is a competition co-hosted by the Korean Agency for Technology and Standards of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and Gyeongju City and organized by the Korea Standards Association. Its purpose is to present best practices of onsite quality improvement and hold a competition for the industrial world. 90 companies in 15 categories and 266 of the best quality control circles participated, and Seoyon E-hwa Co., Ltd. won the "Gold Award" for both the synapse control circle of the research institute in the creative improvement (R&D) sector and the coker control circle of the production technology division in the Smart Factory category.

The synapse control circle, which won this year’s Presidential Gold Award, announced its goals of reducing design failure costs and improving parts quality by verifying parts performance and securing design completeness in the early stages by using AI under the theme of "Development of AI Technology-Based Deformation Prediction System,” and the Ulsan Plant Coker Division received good reviews for announcing the development of a deep learning-based AI fusion inspection system and a fusion energy management system under the theme of "reducing the nonconformity rate through the application of the door trim fusion process AI system.“
